At the weekend, myself and Edwin were invited to attend the London Youth Conference organised by AIESEC and JCI. For the past month we have been working with Marcus Orlovsky, who was invited to talk at the conference and to motivate the students from London School of Economics and University College London. AIESEC is the worlds largest youth-led organisation which focuses on youth leadership development and creating opportunities while JCI is a voluntary network for people in their 20-30′s helping them fulfill their potential and much more things.

So Marcus has been helping us out a lot lately, so he thought it would be a good idea if we came and presented ADS at the conference, this sounded like a great opportunity and a good chance to get some more people checking out the site. This was our first time presenting ADS to anyone other than a couple friends and family, this was people we have never met and have no idea who we are or what we are doing. This gave us a chance to improve our group speaking skills and how we express ourselves and ADS. Both presentations went amazingly well, only a few hiccups but very good overall. We received a lot of advice and support from students of AIESEC and the JCI representatives. Also,  we had a crazy amount of people wanting to help us and support ADS in what we do, which was very overwhelming.

I think that going to conference such as these helps a lot in many different ways, from improving personal skills to meeting new people who are willing to be part of something big. While being at such an inspirational conference, I got the chance to listen to some great speakers such as James Eder and Muzaffar Khan who shared some amazing stories!

A Big Thanks From ADS!
