Trip To Arsenal Youth Academy

As you have previously seen on ADS, we take trips to support some of our young aspirational individuals in their talents. So this time we went to support Montel Agymang (Leyton Orient) who played against Arsenal, it was an U16′s game.

We took the trip all the way to Hale End Sports ground, we arrived very early so we watched the under 10′s train and it was just amazing to see so many young kids taking the early steps in there dream, so many of them happy and just enjoying their lives as Arsenal’s young guns.

Kick off had taken off at 1pm, with Arsenal immediately opening the score sheet with a cracking goal from an u15 who was playing up. However, Leyton were not letting Arsenal get the better of them as they were attacking well with Montel holding up the midfield. The game ended up being a 4-3 win to Arsenal, but it was a tight game with many players showing their full ability and skills as there was quite a big crowd watching.

It was a great experience to visit another clubs training ground, but what made it better was just seeing the young people doing well. They didn’t get to play for their clubs by just sitting around, they made it happen! They got up and did something about it because they knew they wanted to be a footballer!
