London Marathon 2013

Runners cross Tower Bridge during the 2008 Flora London Marathon.

After a lot of speculation and analysation, the London Marathon went on and to be a very successful one. The heartbreaking bombings which occurred during Bostons Marathon had lots of contestants and family members worried about Londons Marathon but everything went well.

I took a trip down to Rotherhithe Tunnel to see some of the runners and was able to catch a few snap shots. The atmosphere and support is beyond crazy, I’m sure many of the runners felt assured and motivated by the public!

Luckily I was able to get a shot of my friend who was running (Left) and Olympic Gold Medalist, Mo Farah (Right).

One thing that inspired me during this race was the disabled contestants, these guys ignored their disability and chose to take part to raise money for a good cause, which is absolutely amazing!
