Doncaster Rovers Sign 1D Singer

Every year we have a surprise during the summer transfer window, but this has got to be the biggest one of them all!

Newly promoted League One club Doncaster Rovers have chosen to sign One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, all in the name of Charity. The popstar will be given a squad number and will play in a match or 2 for the reserve squad, and all proceeds given to charity.

Louis has always been signing his name for fans, so why not play for your hometown?

This is what Louis had to say about the whole thing: “This has always been a childhood dream for me. I feel very honoured to have been asked to sign for Rovers and being able to help both the club and the amazing charity Bluebell Wood is what it’s all about.”

I hope to see some crazy ‘tekkerz’ from the pop star, maybe he will surprise us all!
