Dartford vs Thamesmead FA Youth Cup

The young Dart’s are on a great run after winning their last 3 games of the FA Youth Cup and are now in the 1st round! They have beat Sittingbourne 5-0, battered Margate 7-0 and have now beaten Thamesmed Town 4-2.

We went there to support our fellow ADS footballers, Femi Akinwande, Calvin Ekpiteta and Ainsley Everett.

The game started off quite slow with Thamesmead opening up the scoreline, but that didn’t stop the Darts; they continued to pressure and pressure Thamesmead’s defence. Then a stunning strike from one of Dartford’s players bought them back into the game. From that point on Dartford were dominating the game completely with 3 more goals which one included Femi Akinwande slotting one home for the home team!

All 3 players had the support of family and friends today which is something everybody needs; support! For sure most things we do will be by ourselves, but the support of family and friends can make things 100x better. So if you’re going for something, make sure you got people behind you who are there for you to fall back on!
