Call Of Duty: Ghost

Just an overall plot of Call of Duty: Ghost – It isn’t a sequel to Modern Warfare or Black Ops, but a whole new series in a whole new universe; one where the USA has fallen victim to an attack from an orbital weapons platform and collapsed as a global superpower. Ten years later, its economy crippled and its armed forces rendered impotent, the land of the free is easy pickings for a South American federation, whose armies cheerfully steam in to occupy. America’s last hope rests on the ghosts, two brothers and their elite group of paramilitary fighters, running guerrilla operations both on and outside US soil.

With the new series comes new systems and a new graphics engine, and while the next-generation versions get more detailed textures, higher resolutions and a range of high-end geometry, surfacing and lighting effects – all of which will make for a more photo realistic Call of Duty – even the current-generation consoles will benefit from some of the enhancements. We’re told that the Xbox 360 and PS3 will have improved lighting, while the new art pipeline is designed to render cinema-quality visuals, which are then scaled down to match the platform.
