As most of us will know Nelson Mandela sadly passed away earlier this week, this is one of his famous quotes that he left behind with us. From this quote we can connote that throughout Mandela’s life he was knocked down, and most of the knockdowns were unfair and wrong; yet he did not stay down, he got back up and fought again. Simply, he is saying do not give up because you’ve been knocked down 6 times, get up and make it 7! From their you will be looked at as someone who doesn’t give up and carries on going; something which Mandela did and in some way made it a hobby because he did it so much and so well!
