Mark Duggan Inquest

I am sure most of you remember the devastating riots in 2011, which sparked up after the killing of Mark Duggan. For those of you who don’t know Mark Duggan was killed by a police officer as they stopped his taxi in North London, while he was unarmed.

After a 5 month inquest by the Independent Police Complaints Commission, the verdict of the incident was ‘Lawful Killing’, meaning the police officer who shot Mr Duggan faces no charges or disciplinary actions at all.
