Well Well Well, I do not think that the Olympics could not get any better after a crazy weekend! Gold, Silver and Bronze medals being won left, right and centre!
Great Britain have gone from 21st place to 3rd place in the medal table in the space of 3 days, that is what you call hard work! We have won 16 Golds, 11 Silvers and 10 Bronze’s!
First of all we have to hand credit where it is due, Usain Bolt has broken the Olympic record in the 100metres….AGAIN! With a tight race featuring Blake, Gay and Gatlin! To be honest I do not know why we doubted bolt in the first place, he is the worlds faster man and holds the records for a reason!
We start of with the hot and the face of Britain’s Olympic posters, Jessica Ennis. She has won the females Heptathlon and has retained her Olympic title as Gold Medal winner. She won the whole event by a mile, with a 306 point lead, therefore she went into the last event guaranteed a Gold Medal! She has done amazingly well! At the same time Greg Rutherford secures a Gold in the men’s long jump competition easily with no challenge!
Then Mo Farah just does the un-thinkable….Wins the Mens 10,000m run with an amazing run! He still has the 5000m run left which I am sure he will secure another Gold Medal…He’s running this show!
Even Today our Sailor Ben Ainslie made Olympic history as he won Gold Medal in the men’s sailing and also becoming the most decorated sailor!
Well Done to Team GB and carry on the hard work!
